Please note that the Chapter 13 Trustee does not accept payments in the Decatur office.
Remitting Payment:
In many cases the monthly plan payments are deducted automatically by your employer from your paycheck.
In other cases, you make your payment directly to the Trustee.  In these cases, we offer the following payment options:
           • secure ePay system (online or by phone);
           • checks; money orders; or cashier checks mailed to our payment address.

•You MUST have a checking or savings account. 
You CANNOT use Debit cards, Credit Cards or Pre-paid Cards.
Make a one time payment or make all your payments online using Chapter 13 ePay.
Schedule date and amount of each payment to be paid from your checking or savings account.
Save the cost of purchasing money orders or cashier’s check.
Stop paying overnight mailing prices to ensure your payment arrives on time
•The transaction fee for online payments is $1.00 per payment
RECURRING PAYMENT MESSAGE:
Please note, if you are scheduling this recurring payment to process on today’s date, you will also need to make a one-time payment as this recurring payment will NOT execute until the next month.   For example, if today is the 15th of the month and you set up your recurring payment to process on the 15th day of every month, it will not process until the NEXT month.  If you set up a recurring payment to begin after TODAY, it WILL deduct beginning this month.

  menu driven automated system.

The transaction fee for payments made by the automated phone system is $1.00 per
  payment.

 

Mailing Payments:
1.  Your payment must be made payable to:  Michele T. Hatcher, Chapter 13 Trustee
2.  The payment must reflect your CASE NUMBER and YOUR NAME as reflected on
      your case when it was filed.  This is very important, especially if you’ve had a change to
      your name since filing your case.
3.  Payments sent by regular mail MUST be mailed to our bank lock box at:
